Episode 450: Mayor Kenney Bell

Welcome to Municipal Month on the Cross Border Interviews With Chris Brown, Today's guest is Iqaluit City Mayor Kenney Bell.

Kenny Bell was born in Inuvik and moved to Iqaluit in 1986. During that time, he has seen the capital of Nunavut grow from 2,500 to 8,500.

During this time, Kenny has worked as the Liquor Inspector and Chief Liquor Inspector with the Government of Nunavut. In addition, he has served on the Iqaluit Housing Board and volunteered with the Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre. From 2012-2015, he served as a City Councilor and in 2019 elected as the Mayor of Iqaluit.
