Race for RMA Presidency: Councillor Ben Fadeyiw

Welcome to Municipal Affairs.
In November, members of the Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA) will gather in Edmonton for their annual fall convention, marking a pivotal moment in the organization's history.
This year brings a significant change as Ponoka County Reeve Paul McLauchlin, after years of dedicated service, steps down as President.
His departure opens the door to new leadership, with candidates preparing to shape Alberta's future of rural governance.
As candidates announce their bids for the RMA Presidency, we will speak with candidates about their leadership styles, visions for the organization, and how they intend to guide Alberta's rural municipalities forward.
Today, we are joined by Ben Fadeyiw, Councillor for the Municipal District of Bonnyville, to hear his thoughts on the race and his aspirations for the RMA.
