Singh Dials into FCM

Today, we take you to the heart of Downtown Calgary, where this past weekend a significant event unfolded at this year's Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) convention.

The convention, a pivotal gathering for municipal leaders across the nation, had a speech from NDP Leader JAgmeet Singh, who due to a pending strike in British Columbia was unable to attend the four day conference in person but did virtually address the delegates gathered.

As hundreds of municipal leaders, city planners, and local government officials gathered in the bustling conference halls at the Telus Convention Centre, Singh spoke about the need for more infrastructure funding and supports for Municipalities.

The appearance was moderated by Ottawa City Councillor, and now 2nd Vice President of FCM Tim Tierney. This is Municipal Affairs.
