In this episode, we’re focusing on one of the most significant gatherings for municipal leaders in Manitoba—the AMM Fall Convention. Every November, over 800 delegates from across the province come together for the Association of Manitoba Municipalities annual general meeting.

This year, from November 25 to 27, 2024, the convention will host elections for the AMM's Executive Committee, including the positions of President and two Vice-Presidents, each serving a two-year term.

One of the candidates running for President of the Manitoba Municipal Association is Ian Drul, Reeve of Harrison Park. We spoke with Ian about his candidacy, his vision for the role, and what he hopes to bring to Manitoba's municipalities if elected.
