Trudeau Takes Questions At FCM

Today, we take you to the heart of Downtown Calgary, where this past weekend a significant event unfolded at this year's Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) convention.

The convention, a pivotal gathering for municipal leaders across the nation, had a keynote address by none other than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

As hundreds of municipal leaders, city planners, and local government officials gathered in the bustling conference halls at the Telus Convention Centre, anticipation was palpable when it was announced that Trudeau was not only going to speak but would take questions from the audience in a live - unscripted Q and A session.

Trudeau took the stage to discuss pressing issues, share his vision for Canada's future, and reinforce the critical bond between the federal government and municipalities.

This interactive segment provided a unique platform for local leaders to voice their concerns, seek clarity on federal policies, and press the Prime Minister on matters important to them. After the Speech, We Spoke with Cathy Heron, Mayor of St. Albert - who asked a questions to Prime Minister Trudeau, and Alberta Municipalities President Tyler Gandam. This is Municipal Affairs.
